More Tricks
My psychic powers are telling me you came to this page looking for information on MORE juggling tricks. I have many skills.
Juggling Columns
As well as throwing the balls in a standard cascade pattern, you can vary the routine by using the columns trick. Simultaneously throw a ball in each hand directly upwards. Then move your dominant hand to your body's center, and throw the remaining ball directly up as well. You will then need to move your dominant hand back again to catch the first ball it released. Repeat this pattern to get the column effect.
If you find it difficult to start this trick, try throwing the one in the middle first and the remaining two second.
Cascade Columns
Using the technique described in the last trick, you can vary the columns for a more impressive display of ball mastery. Instead of throwing two balls straight up at the start, try to throw them so they criss-cross in the air and land in opposite hands. They may bump each other in the air, so you will have to throw one slightly higher then the other (but don't go to high).
Rebounding and kicking
Rebounds and kicks are often performed during juggling improvisation and recovery. Practise juggling balls against a wall (so that they rebound back to you). This can also be an effective trick, but may require you to throw the balls with slightly more force.
Whilst juggling normally, purposefully let a ball drop and use your feet to kick it back into the juggle. You won't need to kick it hard (you're not trying to score a goal), just use the inside or outside of your shoe to bump the ball back to your hands. Bean bags can be used to help you get the hang of this trick/recovery technique.
